Educational qualifications:
Ø B.E. in Mechanical from a reputed University
Ø Engineering/Design knowledge
Ø Knowledge of International & Indian standards
Ø Excellent Interpersonal skills
Ø Knowledge of CAD tools is preferred.
Relevant experience:
Ø 10 to 20 years of experience in Static Equipment Engineering in industries such as Metals & Minerals Industry, Chemical sector, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, and Energy etc.
Ø PV Elite tool
Ø Well verse with ISO, DIN, ANSI & ASME standards.
Ø Proficient in ASME Y14.5 (GD&T)
Ø In depth Knowledge of Fabrication & Manufacturing process
Ø Experience in working with Global Clients is preferred.
Ø Manual calculation, Tank analysis are added advantage.
Typical Roles & Responsibilities:
Ø Designing & Engineering of Static Equipment Such as Pressure Vessels, Process Columns, Heat Exchangers, Tanks, Reactors etc. as per international codes like ASME, TEMA, API.
Ø Knowledge in material selection.
Ø Preparation of Equipment Technical Specifications, Calculation Report and Mechanical Data Sheets for enquiry
Ø Preparation of General Arrangement drawings, Load plans etc.
Ø Review and approval of Vendor GA / Details / Calculations / Fabrication Procedures
Ø Support for estimation & sales case
Ø Pressure Vessels and tank Fabrication Drawing preparation & Checking
Ø Any other relevant activities as defined by the Supervisor/Manager/Lead.
