Educational qualifications:
Ø B.E. in Mechanical from a reputed University
Ø Engineering/Design knowledge
Ø Knowledge of International & Indian standards
Ø Excellent Interpersonal skills
Ø Knowledge of CAD tools is preferred.
Relevant experience:
Ø 10 to 20 years of experience in Engineering of Rotating Equipment systems in industries such as Mining & Minerals Industry, Chemical sector, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, and Energy etc.
Ø Well verse with ISO, DIN, ANSI & ASME standards
Ø In depth Knowledge of Fabrication & Manufacturing process
Ø Experience in working with Global Clients is preferred
Ø Hand calculation is an added advantage.
Typical Roles & Responsibilities:
Ø Package / System Engineering for Process Fans, Blowers, Compressors, Cooling Towers, Scrubber system, Pumps, Fuel oil Handling, Conveyors, Material handling, Dust collection & Conveying, Firefighting system etc
Ø Project design support – engineering of the right equipment for the project
Ø Engineering Calculations like Capacity calculation, sizing calculations, Power calculation etc.
Ø Preparation of Equipment Technical Specifications and Mechanical Data Sheets, for enquiry
Ø Support for Estimation and sales case
Ø Preparation of Design Reports
Ø Review of Process Data Sheets and Supplier documentation for integration within Project design, such as GA / Details / Calculations / Fabrication Procedures
Ø Engineering of Layout, General Arrangement drawings, Load plans etc.
Ø Any other relevant activities as defined by the Supervisor/Manager.
