Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Apprentice – Instrumentation to support the Instrumentation & Automation team in engineering and project-related activities. The candidate will gain practical exposure to engineering deliverables, project workflows, and engineering software tools under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the engineering team in preparation of instrumentation deliverables.
- Support updating of Instrument Index, I/O List, Cable Schedule, and related documents.
- Assist in preparation and checking of Loop Diagrams and Hook-up drawings.
- Support engineering documentation and data entry activities.
- Coordinate with team members for project-related tasks.
- Learn engineering standards, procedures, and project workflows.
- Support document control and revision updates.
- Participate in internal training sessions and technical discussions.
Skills Required
- Basic understanding of Instrumentation Engineering concepts.
- Knowledge of P&IDs and engineering drawings is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/MS Office.
- Good communication and learning attitude.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Educational Qualification
- BE / B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, Electrical & Instrumentation, or related field.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to SPI, AVEVA tools, or E3D is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of industrial processes and instrumentation systems.
