Job Summary
A Process Drafting Engineer is responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and documentation related to process systems. This includes PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), to support engineering design, construction, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting & Design
- Prepare and update:
- Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
- Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
Software Usage
- Use drafting/design tools such as:
- AutoCAD
- MicroStation
- SmartPlant (SPPID/SP3D) or AVEVA tools
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
