BASIC PURPOSE:
To produce quality deliverables as per project guidelines under supervision of Manager / Lead. Interacts within team whenever required.
EDUCATIONAL OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma (Mech/Chemical) with minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in the relevant discipline (P&ID drafting), competent in using relevant software like MicroStation.
TYPICAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Study of all types of Legends Sheets, Process Flow Diagram, P&IDs, Piping material specifications (PMS or Pipe Class), Mechanical equipment drawings Plot plans, Isometrics, etc.
- Preparation of P&IDs / PFDs / Process Block drawings etc., using MicroStation.
- To submit the check prints along with check list to Engineer/Checker for checking.
- Master PFD / P&ID marking and updating the change on a regular basis with color codes.
- Getting inputs/guidelines from Leads during Drafting activities.
- Alerts to supervisor if unable to deal with routine activities.
- Any other relevant activities as defined by the Manager/Lead.
